About The Position
The Bethlehem YMCA is seeking to fill three seasonal Zamboni Driver positions. This is a part-time seasonal role, primarily active during the Fall, Winter, and early Spring seasons, requiring approximately 10-12 hours per week. The position offers flexibility with shifts available Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and on weekends between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. A key benefit is the Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand before payday.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Appropriate professional certifications.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- BA/BS in Physical Ed, Recreation, Sports Mgt, Health Ed or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in supervising a similar recreational program or working with the assigned population.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
