About The Position

The B2B Software Sales Representative will be the first dedicated sales hire at a fast-growing, early-stage B2B SaaS company serving field service and operations businesses. The company offers software subscriptions as well as professional services and onboarding packages. Sales has been founder-led, and this role will help establish and scale the sales function. The representative will own the full sales funnel, from inbound lead response and outbound prospecting through discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close. This is an individual-contributor role reporting directly to the founder, with responsibility for pipeline ownership, CRM hygiene, execution of documented sales processes, and revenue outcomes. The position is full-time and 100% remote, with availability during US business hours required. Compensation is paid in USD, bi-monthly on the 15th and 30th, with additional financial incentives for professional services closings. Paid time off and holidays are provided according to company policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience closing, or strongly contributing to closing, B2B software or high-consideration sales; appointment setting alone is not sufficient.
  • Excellent spoken English and the confidence to lead live demonstrations and discovery calls independently.
  • Self-directed, high-ownership mindset and comfort being the only salesperson reporting directly to a founder.
  • Strong CRM discipline and ability to consistently follow a documented sales SOP without reminders.
  • Reliable availability during US business hours.
  • Strong outbound phone skills.

  • Experience selling to SMB, field service, or trade service businesses.
  • Prior experience as an early or first sales hire at a startup.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales cycle from research and outreach through qualification, demonstration, proposal, close, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads by call, email, and SMS according to the sales SOP.
  • Run structured discovery conversations covering customer pain, current tools, decision process, timeline, and budget signals.
  • Lead product demonstrations with support from the customer success team.
  • Send proposals and quotes, pursue signatures, and confirm kickoff details for every won deal.
  • Close software subscription plans as well as professional services and onboarding packages.
  • Research target accounts, build call lists, and conduct consistent cold and warm outbound prospecting alongside inbound lead response.
  • Manage the CRM day to day, including pipeline stages, tags, sequences, interaction logging, next steps, close dates, and notes.
  • Provide light weekly reporting on activity, pipeline, wins, losses, and blockers.
  • Share call insights with product and marketing teams, including ICP feedback, common objections, and feature requests.
  • Help refine scripts, talk tracks, and ICP definitions as the sales function grows.
  • Handle objections and negotiate within approved pricing guidelines, escalating edge cases to leadership.
