B2B Marketing Lead

KodeKloud,
Remote

About The Position

KodeKloud is seeking a B2B Marketing Lead to be the first dedicated marketer for its rapidly growing B2B line of business. This role is responsible for turning an existing audience of engineers into pipeline for KodeKloud's hands-on learning platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS marketing, particularly in building functions from scratch at early-stage companies. This is an individual operator role with the opportunity to shape the company's B2B marketing strategy and voice.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing.
  • Experience building a marketing function from 0→1 at a small or similar-stage company.
  • Pi-shaped: depth in product marketing (positioning, why-they-buy) AND in growth/lifecycle demand gen.
  • Experience with a product-led-sales motion (PQLs/PQAs, self-serve-to-team conversion) or marketing an installed base in ed-tech.
  • Ability to market to engineers without making them feel sold to.
  • Proven track record of generating pipeline dollars.
  • Ability to distinguish sourced from influenced pipeline without being asked.
  • Comfort with an individual operator role, being a team of one initially.
  • Ability to leverage the broader B2C Marketing Team (Designers, MarOps) as needed, but not as dedicated resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise ABM, field marketing, or events (though these are not the focus of this role).
  • Experience working in large marketing organizations running established processes.
  • Focus on metrics beyond MQLs, impressions, or booth scans.

Responsibilities

  • Own B2B pipeline generation end to end.
  • Harvest the existing base of KodeKloud learners within companies to convert them into pipeline.
  • Score and segment companies based on learner density, growth, and seniority.
  • Build lifecycle campaigns to convert individual learners into team conversations.
  • Own the individual-to-team upgrade path, including in-product prompts, self-serve Teams tier, and champion kits.
  • Hand off warm, usage-referenced opportunities to sales and fix funnel leaks.
  • Create demand with the buyer by operationalizing content from founders and trainers.
  • Book and produce podcast appearances and webinars for engineering leaders and L&D buyers.
  • Turn founder/trainer content into LinkedIn thought-leader ads and retargeting.
  • Ship an annual original-data report on engineer learning trends.
  • Build the company's presence on platforms where budget-holders shortlist vendors (e.g., G2, Training Industry).
  • Develop positioning and messaging based on win/loss evidence.
  • Provide sales enablement, focusing on the most impactful 20%.
  • Implement honest measurement, including self-reported attribution.

Benefits

  • 100% remote culture – work from anywhere, anytime.
  • Be part of a mission-driven company helping millions upskill in DevOps, Cloud, and AI through hands-on learning.
  • Opportunity to shape the voice of a fast-growing global brand.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced, and creative work environment.
