About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer Lead with a strong background in IT and extensive experience in AWS. The role involves managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, migrating systems to AWS, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various AWS services, infrastructure provisioning, EKS, networking, and Terraform. A team player attitude and the ability to collaborate with solution architects are essential.

Requirements

• Overall 10+ years of IT experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in AWS.
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, ALB, NLB, Sagemaker, and Bedrock.
• Experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migration projects.
• Provisioning infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with EKS.
• At least 1 year of experience with Terraform.
• Experience with networking and troubleshooting skills like VPC.
• Any certification related to AWS is required.
• AI exposure is required in some roles.
• Team player attitude.
• Ability to work with the solution architect team.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 8 years proven success overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with regulatory compliance is a big plus.
• Healthcare domain experience is a super plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tunes, upgrades, troubleshoots, and maintains all computer systems relevant to the supported applications.
• Develops and implements techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoots incidents to recover services, and supports root cause analysis.
• Evaluates new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews.
• Researches software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing.
• Determines systems integration issues by evaluating components and developing performance tests.
• Improves engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
• Acts as a mentor for junior and senior team members.
