Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff
About The Position
Sevita is hiring an Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff member to support people with developmental goals and complex needs. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene, supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges, and helping participants grow, learn, and live well. Staff build meaningful relationships, help participants take part in their communities and favorite activities, and support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The schedule is 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Sunday, every other week, on a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation. Pay is $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- No high school diploma is required.
- No prior experience is required.
- Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
- Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Help participants work toward developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
