About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Civil Engineer to join our Airport Engineering Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Nashville, TN. Your Role Assist with the design of airport pavements, runways, taxiways, and airside/landside infrastructure. Perform engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates for airport improvement projects. Prepare engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design calculations. Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and basis of design reports. Conduct site visits and construction inspections to monitor project progress. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including transportation, structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and environmental engineers. Ensure designs comply with FAA regulations, airport design standards, and local requirements and assist with FAA grant and airport improvement program documentation.

Requirements

  • 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field.
  • Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college/university.
