About The Position

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager to join their emerging Aviation team in Jacksonville, FL. This is an on-site position. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field.
8 years' experience with an emphasis in Aviation transportation.
Experience in Transportation, site development, and infrastructure design
Experience in Geometric design, grading, drainage, pavements, utilities, and specifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). (Florida preferred).
Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD; Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and multiple concurrent tasks.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions
Demonstrated responsiveness, professionalism, and teamwork

Responsibilities

Planning, design, and construction of civil & transportation projects focused on Aviation development
Perform and lead design tasks or projects, including the supervising and directing of junior staff
Prepare bidding documents (plans & specifications), including horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, marking, signage, erosion control, coordination with other disciplines, water & sanitary utilities, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction scheduling
Support the client manager in providing service to and developing relationships with existing aviation clients
Perform project management and coordination of multi-disciplined tasks necessary to implement projects for clients in our aviation group
Perform, assist, or oversee construction-related tasks, including on-site construction observation and project engineering
Assist in business development activities, including prospective client outreach, submittal preparation, and community engagement
