AV & Lutron Technician – Luxury Residential
About The Position
Springboard Automation is hiring an experienced, team-oriented AV & Lutron Technician to work on luxury residential projects in the Philadelphia and New York City region, with travel to other destinations as projects require. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role pays $35–$48 per hour based on experience and includes a generous per diem for overnight travel. The technician will build, dress, terminate, and label custom AV racks; install televisions, speakers, motorized shades, and network equipment; and program, commission, and troubleshoot luxury home control systems. Work takes place in finished luxury homes, requiring care and attention to detail, along with a professional presence when interacting with clients, builders, and designers. Regular work in both Philadelphia and NYC is expected, including overnight stays. Some projects may be farther away, including destinations such as Miami. Business travel beyond a normal commute is covered, with quality hotel accommodations and a generous per diem for overnight travel. Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on A/V, electrical, or similar construction experience.
- Lutron Homeworks certification and experience, or similar.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
- Professional presence with clients, builders, and designers.
- Team-oriented approach and care when working in finished luxury homes.

Responsibilities
