About The Position
Connect Consulting is seeking a hands-on, technically inclined AV Installation Technician who is eager to learn and grow. This role is ideal for someone who prefers working in the field rather than at a desk and has a curious nature about how things work. The technician will be responsible for various installation and configuration tasks related to audio-visual systems.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pull cabling
- Ability to use power tools & hand tools
- Steady work history (3 years between job changes)
- High EQ

Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Setup and configuration of devices
- Understanding of networks
- Troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron)
