About The Position
Safety drivers in Dallas, Texas, drive and monitor self-driving vehicles while transporting passengers to their destinations. Drivers take control of the vehicle when needed for safety, inspect vehicles before each shift, report vehicle issues and driving events, and follow traffic and safety rules. This is a full-time evening-shift position, with hours from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Available schedules run across different combinations of weekdays and weekends. The role pays $25 per hour, with benefits and weekly pay; it is described as long-term.
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
- Have strong driving and communication skills.
- Be able to stay alert and focused.
- Be comfortable driving at night and on weekends.
