About The Position

Royalty Staffing is hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators in San Francisco for a growing ride-share company. Operators support vehicle and personnel operations and contribute to the development of autonomous mobility. The role involves driving vehicles, carrying out basic software tasks, assisting with missions both inside and outside vehicles, providing feedback to engineering teams, and supporting vehicle maintenance and logistics. The work is onsite and field-based, pays $29.00 per hour, and is an ongoing contract. Multiple schedules are available, including day, night, and graveyard shifts, with additional pay for weekend shifts and night shifts starting after 3 p.m.

Requirements

Basic vehicle knowledge to perform vehicle checks.
Ability to drive for long durations, described as 6 hours in the car per day.
Intermediate understanding of technology.
Ability to pass a motor vehicle check with a clean record for the previous 3 years.
Ability to pass a typing test with a score of 45 WPM.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive mindset and resourcefulness.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

Support vehicle operations.
Drive 4–8 hours per day, prioritizing safety.
Conduct basic software operation tasks.
Support missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehicles.
Assist with documentation and metrics.
Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.
Support vehicle maintenance and logistics.
Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs.
Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace.
Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness.
