About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join its luxury automotive team. The role offers compensation of up to $150,000 per year. The pay scale includes base hourly compensation from $35.00 to $60.00. CDT and Master Technicians are encouraged to apply. The technician performs repair-order work efficiently and accurately, diagnoses vehicle repair needs, documents completed work, and road-tests vehicles when required or refers them to a test technician. The position also requires maintaining safety and quality standards and following applicable regulations, including rules for hazardous-waste disposal. Applicants must have at least two years of Automotive Technician experience, their own tools, a valid driver’s license and good driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Mercedes-Benz experience is preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous Automotive Technician experience.
Own a set of tools.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Manual dexterity.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver’s license verification.

Nice To Haves

Mercedes-Benz experience preferred.
CDT or Master Technician credentials are encouraged.

Responsibilities

Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
Examine vehicles and diagnose necessary repairs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Document work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required or refer them to the test technician.
Maintain high safety and quality standards.
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including those governing hazardous-waste disposal.
