About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join its luxury automotive team. The role involves completing repair orders accurately and efficiently, diagnosing vehicle issues, obtaining parts, documenting completed work, and road-testing vehicles when required. Technicians are expected to maintain high safety and quality standards and comply with applicable regulations, including requirements for hazardous-waste disposal. The position offers annual compensation of $95,000–$150,000, with hourly base compensation ranging from $35 to $60.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous Automotive Technician experience.
Own a set of tools.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Manual dexterity.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and a drug test.

Nice To Haves

Mercedes-Benz experience preferred.
CDT and Master Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
Examine vehicles and diagnose necessary repairs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Document work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required or refer them to the test technician.
Maintain high safety and quality standards.
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including those governing hazardous-waste disposal.
