About The Position

The Automotive Technician at Napleton's Wyoming Valley Porsche performs vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role helps build customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring customers have confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. The position is with the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, a dealership group affiliated with over 25 vehicle brands and 50+ dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Automotive technical training or experience as a lube technician or technician assistant.
Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Complete vehicle inspections.
Check oil levels and communicate them to teammates.
Ensure tires are properly inflated.
Perform wheel alignments.
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters.
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
Clean and replace batteries.
Replace or repair exhaust systems.
Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
Replace radiators.
Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
Keep the service center clean and presentable.
