About The Position
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. Porsche San Diego is hiring a skilled Mainline Technician. The role offers a pay range of $33.00–$56.00 per flat-rate hour, a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 based on qualifications, and relocation assistance. The shop provides paid Porsche certification training, team leads and a shop foreman, paid mentorship, electronic dispatch based on technician skill, and support from lot porters and a shop assistant. The position also offers structured pay increases when certification or experience milestones are reached and yearly compensation reviews. The Mainline Technician performs repairs and diagnostics in accordance with repair orders, dealership standards, and factory standards. Technicians are expected to maintain current knowledge of automotive diagnostic technology and digital reference materials, keep the shop and tools in order, road-test vehicles to verify repairs, and adapt to changing automotive and diagnostic technologies. Requirements
- At least 1 year of Porsche technician experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean motor vehicle record or minimal violations.
- Willingness to undergo the company's background requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Maintain current knowledge of automotive diagnostic technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
- Keep the shop area neat and clean and account for dealership tools at all times.
- Road-test vehicles to verify the quality of repairs.
- Adapt to changing technologies in the automotive industry and diagnostics.
