About The Position

Hansel Mazda is hiring motivated technicians to join their new Mazda dealership. This is an opportunity to grow with a stable, well-established automotive group. The Service Technician will use state-of-the-art equipment and training to efficiently and safely maintain and repair customer vehicles, providing an excellent customer experience as part of the service team. Hansel Auto Group services Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Subaru, and Volkswagen.

Requirements

• Experience as an automotive technician
• Provide a clean and valid California license
• Highest level of workmanship
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a background check
• Clean and Valid California driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Examines customer vehicles
• Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Estimates cost of repairs
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Documents services performed
• Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
