About The Position
The Entry-Level Auto Technician / Mechanic performs a variety of automotive service and repair duties, working closely with seasoned technicians and the Shop Foreman. The role interacts daily with the Shop Foreman, technicians, Service Advisors, and Service Managers.
Requirements
- Be detail-oriented and excel in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Have minimal technician experience or be a recent technical-school graduate.
- Be able to obtain State Inspection and Emissions licenses.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background and driving-record check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inspections and emissions, oil changes, general tire services, and familiarity with automotive services; these are preferred but not all required.
Responsibilities
- Perform quick-lube duties related to maintenance and repairs.
- Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned.
- Perform test drives.
- Help other team members with their duties as needed.
