About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive Hixson is hiring experienced A-level and B-level Automotive Technicians/Mechanics to join a growing team providing honest, high-quality automotive care. The role suits technicians who take pride in their craft, enjoy diagnosing complex vehicle concerns, act with integrity, and are committed to developing their technical skills while helping guests stay safe on the road. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models, perform complete and accurate courtesy inspections, and work collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to resolve guest concerns and deliver quality results. The shop offers a climate-controlled work environment, consistent workload, training, and live technical support. The position is at a locally owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchise in Hixson, Tennessee.

Requirements

3–5+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Ability to diagnose and repair many makes and models of vehicles.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests as part of a team.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for growth and long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Work closely with the service department and communicate concerns effectively.
Work with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
