About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles, build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, and complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. They collaborate with the service department and other technicians to address guest concerns, solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. The position is at the independently owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive location at 101 Jet Way, Clarksville, TN 37043. The shop is fully air-conditioned and equipped with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools. Technicians have access to a consistent workload, training, live technical support, and the private Technician Assistance Center. The local franchisee is the employer and is responsible for employment decisions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces required by repairs.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
