About The Position
Friendship Automotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician at Friendship CJDR of Bristol. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations, while following dealership safety procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least one year of technician experience. Manufacturer or ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of technician experience.
- Broad knowledge of automotive mechanics.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturer certifications.
- ASE certifications.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems.
- Accurately estimate the time needed for service.
- Use tools and service equipment properly to diagnose and maintain vehicles.
- Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders.
- Complete repairs to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
- Communicate issues or additional service needs to Assistant Service Managers.
- Follow dealership procedures for safety and quality standards.
