About The Position

Jim Coleman Toyota is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join its service team. The role is based in a busy, fast-paced service department at a modern, well-equipped facility, where technicians can develop their skills, increase production, and pursue career advancement. The dealership is part of Jim Coleman Automotive, a third-generation family-owned dealership group serving the DMV since the 1950s.

Technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex mechanical repairs, following manufacturer and dealership standards. They document work accurately, communicate with Service Advisors and Parts personnel, maintain an organized work area, follow safety and quality standards, and handle customer vehicles with care.

Requirements

• Three or more years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and fixing vehicles right the first time.

Nice To Haves

• Toyota or other manufacturer experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities
