About The Position

Tire Source is hiring a full-time Experienced Automotive Technician to join its team at one of six locations in Northeast Ohio. The role offers hourly or flat-rate pay and is intended for a qualified technician who wants to learn and advance in the automotive industry. The position involves inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work using modern automotive equipment and scan tools. The technician is expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and contribute positively as part of a team. Tire Source is a family-owned and operated neighborhood car-care business established in 1991. It provides tire service and automotive repairs at locations in Medina, Fairlawn, Streetsboro, and the Canton area, using advanced equipment and ASE-certified technicians.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least 5 years of experience preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Must have a certain level of tools required for the position.
Self-motivated and enjoys teamwork.
Interested in advancing in the automotive industry.

Nice To Haves

Five or more years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform multi-point inspections.
Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters.
Recommend services based on completed inspections.
Perform alignments.
Service batteries, starting systems, and charging systems.
Work on steering and suspension systems.
Perform engine and check-engine diagnostics.
Perform fluid exchanges, including oil, coolant, and power steering fluids.
Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections.
Use modern scan tools and reprogramming procedures.
Continuously learn new technical information to keep up with changes in the automotive industry.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Maintain a positive attitude and work as part of a team.
Participate in job training, including ASE-related training.
