About The Position

Friendship Automotive is hiring a Master Diesel Technician for Ford of Bristol. The role is based in the dealership’s new Commercial Pro Elite facility, with Foreman opportunities available to qualified candidates. The ideal candidate has strong diesel experience; Ford experience and certifications are preferred. Compensation is an aggressive hourly rate based on experience and certifications.

Requirements

• Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computers.
• Ability to work independently and well on a team.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Ford experience.
• Ford Master Certification.
• Leadership skills for consideration for a Foreman opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related vehicle systems.
• Accurately estimate the time needed for service.
• Properly use diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Efficiently complete work specified on Repair Orders.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate repair needs and updates to Assistant Service Managers.
• Safely drive vehicles to test components and verify repairs.
• Adhere to dealership safety procedures and quality standards.
