About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician/mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, performs accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections, and works with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns efficiently and deliver quality results. The role is at a locally owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchise in Missouri City, Texas. The shop is fully climate controlled and offers modern diagnostic equipment, factory scan tools, real-time technical support, training, and a consistent workload.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces dictated by repairs.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using automotive knowledge and skills.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work with a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Work closely with the service department and communicate concerns effectively.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
