About The Position

As an Automotive Technician at Belle Tire, you provide expert automotive repairs to keep customers moving and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. The role is based in a tire and automotive service retail store and involves repairing a variety of vehicle systems while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work hours vary Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. The workshop is fast-paced and involves extended standing and heavy lifting.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have a State of Michigan Mechanic Certification, applicable in Michigan only.
Have 2 years of automotive repair or mechanic experience.
Have a customer-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
ASE Certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform automotive repairs on engine, drivetrain/axles, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, and engine performance systems.
Ensure work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations for quality and service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
