About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Tag & Title Manager for its dealership in Duluth, Georgia. The manager oversees vehicle tag and title processing, supports and guides a team, verifies costs and deal documentation for accounting, and handles legal document transfers with the Department of Motor Vehicles. The role involves maintaining accurate title records, ensuring transactions are processed correctly and promptly, and helping the team meet daily operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team by guiding daily responsibilities, overseeing workflow and priorities, and serving as the primary escalation point for questions, issues, and operational challenges.
• Process vehicles for registration in the state where they will be titled.
• Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder is recorded before processing title applications.
• Check title applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Maintain the title database to ensure visibility into title statuses.
• Oversee wholesale title transactions to ensure prompt funding.
• Manage processing of car deals and verify costs for the accounting department, including reconditioning and equipment add-ons.
• Handle legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
