The specialist processes vehicle deals and registration paperwork, verifies costs for the accounting department, and handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Nice To Haves
- Automotive dealership title clerk experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process vehicles for registration in the state where they will be titled.
- Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder has been paid off before processing title applications.
- Check applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
- Process car deals and verify costs for the accounting department, including reconditioning and equipment add-on costs.
- Handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
