About The Position
Sheehy Toyota of Laurel, part of Sheehy Auto Stores (a Top 30 privately held automotive dealer group), is looking for an experienced Tag & Title Clerk. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excels in a fast-paced setting. The position is full-time and offers competitive pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive Tag & Title experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume dealership environment
- Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review
Responsibilities
- Process new and used vehicle titles and registrations
- Prepare and maintain used vehicle trade jackets
- Monitor and follow up on titles in transit
- Work with banks, customers, and agencies to obtain lien releases and trade titles
- Process wholesale and auction title documentation
- Maintain tag receivable schedules and title compliance records
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and sales teams as needed
