About The Position

CMA Hyundai of Lynchburg is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its growing team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. The shop is undergoing a major renovation that will triple the number of service bays, supporting the dealership’s expanding team and customer service needs. Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in electrical systems.
Proficiency with computer-based diagnostic tools and repair software.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a comeback rate of 5% or less.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Nice To Haves

Dealership experience, which is strongly preferred but not required.
Experience with Hyundai or Kia vehicles.
Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems such as CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds.
Experience working in a dealership or high-volume service center.
Eagerness to embrace and master emerging automotive technologies.
Dedication to continuously expanding technical skills and knowledge.
ASE certification(s) or equivalent automotive training.
Familiarity with Hyundai and Kia vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues.
Perform automotive repairs, including work involving electrical systems.
