About The Position

Bowser Hyundai of Chippewa is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Technician for its growing Service Department. The technician will work on Hyundai vehicles and have access to Hyundai manufacturer training and ongoing technical education to develop their skills. The position focuses on accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and professional service that contributes to a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Pennsylvania Emissions and Safety Inspection License.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with the Service Team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to continue learning as automotive technology evolves.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certification.
• Hyundai Service Technician training; Kia training will also be considered.
• CDK experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repairs.
• Complete repairs efficiently and correctly while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and recommendations on repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other Service Department members.
• Stay current with automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques.
• Complete required Hyundai training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow manufacturer, dealership, OSHA, and safety requirements.
• Provide professional service that helps ensure a positive customer experience.
