About The Position

Greenway Kia West Palm Beach is hiring an Automotive Service Technician. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience performing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs, can maintain, repair, and deliver vehicles, and provides exceptional customer service. The technician should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. ASE-certified technicians are encouraged to apply, and prior Kia experience is a plus. Hands-on training is available.

Requirements

ASE Certification or graduation from an associate degree program in automotive maintenance and repair.
At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, air-conditioning equipment, and lift operation.
Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to remain composed under stress.
Valid driver's license.

Prior Kia experience.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and estimated repair times so customers can be informed.
Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Learn through hands-on training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
