About The Position

Greenway Kia West Palm Beach is hiring an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has demonstrated automotive technician experience, performs high-quality work, and can work independently or as part of a team. ASE-certified technicians are encouraged to apply; prior Kia experience is a plus. Hands-on training is available.

Requirements

At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
ASE certification or graduation from an associate degree program in automotive maintenance and repair.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, air-conditioning equipment, and lifts.
Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to remain composed under stress.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Prior Kia experience.
ASE certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and estimated repair time so customers can be informed.
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Participate in hands-on training and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Perform other duties as assigned.
