About The Position

Lia Honda Enfield is seeking an experienced Level A/A+ Automotive Service Technician to join its service team. The role involves completing repair orders efficiently according to dealership processes; testing and diagnosing vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment; maintaining and repairing automotive systems; communicating additional service needs and repair-time estimates to the Service Advisor; and performing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. The dealership describes its service department as fast-paced and professional, with modern equipment including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
• Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• State Inspection certification.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certification is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor when additional service is needed and provide an estimate of the time required for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
