About The Position

Billion Automotive is hiring Automotive Service Technicians for its Worthington, Minnesota location. The role is open to all skill levels and involves repairing and diagnosing vehicles in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Technicians perform work listed on repair orders, identify malfunctions and make repairs, and keep customers' vehicles clean. They coordinate with the parts department and service advisors, document work performed and recommended, and report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor. Additional tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

Experience repairing and diagnosing vehicles.
Maintain a positive, dynamic attitude and recover quickly from setbacks.
Have the tools necessary to perform automotive repairs.
Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose the causes of most malfunctions and perform repairs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Examine assigned vehicles to determine whether further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, listed work is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
Report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor.
Keep customers' cars clean and promptly notify the service advisor of anything that changes a vehicle's appearance or condition.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
