About The Position

Tire Discounters is hiring a Service Technician to perform automotive services and help ensure the success of daily operations at the assigned location. Services include tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension work, alignments, brake work, engine diagnostics, drivability services, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance. The technician is expected to deliver accurate, timely, high-quality inspections, maintenance, and repairs that meet or exceed customer expectations, and to test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify functionality and safety. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area and contributing to a collaborative team.

Requirements

At least 2 years of automotive repair experience.
Must have own tools; a tool purchase program is available.
Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools, and equipment.
Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
Comfort with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
Diagnostic scanner experience is a plus.
