About The Position

Huntersville Ford is looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Full-Time Service Porter / Shuttle Driver to join our growing service team. Located in the southern end of the Lake Norman area, Huntersville Ford is locally owned and operated and has proudly served the community since 2002. Our dealership was founded by Dan Parks and Vernon Krause, who have been business partners since 1991. Mr. Stacy Cowan joined our team as General Manager in 2019 and became a partner in 2020. Our community trusts us because we believe in doing business the right way—by taking care of our customers and our people. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to safely operate dealership vehicles
  • Ability to follow dealership safety procedures and driving policies
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport service customers to and from their homes, places of business, or other designated locations
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to every customer
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with customers
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Service Advisors, technicians, and management
  • Ensure customers are transported safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Assist customers as needed throughout their service visit
  • Drive customer vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, parking areas, and other designated locations
  • Retrieve and deliver vehicles from dealership and off-site property locations
  • Assist the service department with vehicle movement and organization
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe service and parking areas
  • Ensure vehicles are properly positioned for service and customer pickup
  • Assist with other service department tasks as needed
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
