About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Service Director to lead and grow our service department. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving profitability, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive service management (Service Manager, Fixed Ops Director, or similar leadership role required)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial reports and manage departmental budgets
  • Deep understanding of service operations, warranty processes, and customer retention strategies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of driving history with a clean driving record (no major violations, suspensions, or DUIs)
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening (if applicable)
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the service department, including operations, staffing, and financial performance
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost control
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor efficiency, customer satisfaction (CSI), and retention
  • Lead, mentor, and develop service managers, advisors, and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership performance
  • Implement processes that enhance workflow efficiency and customer experience
