About The Position

The Automotive Service Appointment Coordinator will be responsible for managing service appointments, demonstrating a strong customer service orientation, and working with all dealership departments. This role requires basic knowledge of company products, including labor rates, menu prices, models, warranties, and vehicle maintenance. The coordinator must be able to address customer hesitation with patience and empathy, project a positive image during all interactions, and chart and monitor daily activities. A flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of company products (labor rates, menu item prices, models, series, options, warranties, vehicle maintenance, standard equipment, specifications).
  • Demonstrate sensitivity toward customers and strong interest in exceeding customers' expectations.
  • Capable of addressing customer hesitation and resistance with patience and empathy.
  • Capable of projecting a positive image every time you place or receive a telephone call.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Pleasant and courteous personality.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong phone and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written in both English and Spanish) and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Some post-secondary education or training.
  • Previous experience in a similar position (administrative, clerical, call center, customer service, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of automotive sales/service.
