Requirements

  • Previous Service Advisor, Automotive Service Writer, or automotive customer service experience preferred
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain technical information in a way customers can easily understand
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong computer and CRM skills
  • Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and provide an exceptional service experience from check-in through vehicle delivery
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and technician inspections
  • Prepare estimates and explain recommended repairs in a clear, professional manner
  • Schedule service appointments and manage repair timelines
  • Communicate repair updates and vehicle status throughout the service process
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
  • Review completed repairs with customers and answer any questions
  • Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business and positive reviews
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records using dealership software
