Automotive Service Advisor / Writer | Up to $65k & Weekends Off | Wilmington
About The Position
As an Automotive Service Advisor/Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are a trusted professional who assists guests with their vehicles and builds lasting relationships as the face of the facility. You guide guests through the repair process, keep them informed about vehicle status, and help ensure their satisfaction. This position is at a locally owned and operated franchise location in Wilmington, North Carolina. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with weekends off. Compensation is $45,000–$65,000 yearly, with pay up to $65,000 for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Current driver’s license.
- Driving record acceptable to the current insurance carrier.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications.
- Experience in an automotive customer service role or automotive service writing, advising, or sales role.
- Dependability and reliability for a Monday–Friday schedule of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Ability to be on your feet for most of the workday, including standing, walking, and coordinating parts.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest who enters the facility with hospitality and respect.
- Present the best repair solution in a way that is easy for guests to understand.
- Manage the store’s workflow effectively and efficiently.
- Sell services consistently and effectively while maintaining honesty and integrity.
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere.
- Communicate clearly and professionally by phone.
- Build long-term relationships among the store, the advisor, and guests.
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer service activities.
- Shuttle guests as needed in a CBA-branded vehicle.
- Ensure repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Work as a team and assist other employees as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
