About The Position

Central CJDR of Norwood is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, managing day-to-day operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience at our Norwood MA location.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive sales management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Dealership management experience
  • Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen-excluding marijuana

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve dealership sales goals and targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide coaching and feedback to the team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth dealership operations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Be a leader & provide focus for your Sales team
  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
  • Assist General Manager in overseeing training and supervision of all dealership employees
  • Maintains CSI at or above company standards
  • Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Help manage productivity of sales department
  • Maintains good working relationship with manufacturer and lending institutions
  • Facilitate regular sales training for continue team growth
