Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, internet lead management, and sales processes
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals
  • Experience managing lead follow-up, appointment conversion, and customer retention strategies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process execution
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and turn insights into action
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and dealership goals
  • Drive a strong lead management culture by ensuring all internet, phone, and showroom opportunities are worked consistently and effectively
  • Monitor CRM activity, follow-up processes, appointment-setting performance, and customer engagement
  • Partner closely with the BDC to maximize appointment show rates, customer experience, and sales conversions
  • Train and coach sales consultants on phone skills, lead handling, appointment setting, objection management, and customer follow-up
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews to help team members grow
  • Review key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve results
  • Assist with deal structure, negotiations, and customer satisfaction efforts
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on accountability and continuous improvement
