About The Position

Susquehanna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in automotive sales, a proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a leader who is confident overcoming objections, thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to developing both themselves and those around them. Success in this role requires balancing high sales performance, strong operational execution, and outstanding customer satisfaction. This is a performance-based compensation position with income driven by production, profitability, finance product penetration, and achieving department goals. Annual Income expectations based on historical sales data is 100k-135K. Previous management and finance experience within the automotive industry is preferred but not required. Requirements

  • Automotive sales experience required
  • Strong desire to learn, improve, and grow professionally.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance processes.
  • Ability to structure profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of vehicle titling, registration, and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Sales Management and/or Finance experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Structure deals to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
  • Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders, assist in making credit decisions, and help close transactions.
  • Present financing options and vehicle protection products that enhance the customer's ownership experience.
  • Maintain required manufacturer certifications and training.
  • Ensure every transaction complies with all dealership, manufacturer, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare and review deal paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit completed deals to identify opportunities for improvement and increased profitability.
  • Ensure contracts are funded quickly and efficiently.
  • Coach, motivate, and assist the sales team in achieving individual and department goals.
  • Help create an exceptional dealership experience that earns lifelong customers.
