About The Position

The Sales Valet/Porter manages the dealership lot, including cleanup, movement, organization, and display of vehicle inventory. The role also involves tagging vehicles with disclaimers and tagging vehicle keys. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to function in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• Proactive approach.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate both manual- and automatic-transmission vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize vehicle inventory.
• Receive and verify inbound vehicles against invoices when applicable.
• Catalog keys and input them into the Key Track system.
• Ensure vehicles have fuel, required stickers and buyer’s guides, and are in good condition.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice or addendum.
• Keep inventory clean and presentable, with disclaimers and vehicle information displayed properly.
• Move and deliver vehicles when instructed.
