About The Position
The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest-volume automotive groups in Central Illinois, family-owned since 1963, operating 13 dealerships and employing nearly 700 individuals. Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Champaign is looking to add high-energy, driven individuals to its Sales Team. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- No automotive sales experience required – we will train the right person
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team mentality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and deliver an exceptional buying experience
- Identify customer needs through active listening and product knowledge
- Demonstrate vehicles and conduct test drives
- Guide customers through the delivery process, ensuring full understanding of features, warranties, and paperwork
- Stay up to date on inventory, features, and automotive technology
- Maintain consistent follow-up with customers to generate repeat and referral business
- Collaborate with management, service, and reconditioning teams
- Attend training and sales meetings to continuously improve
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and applicable laws
