About The Position

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team. If you have a successful background in automotive sales, car sales, dealership sales, or commission-based vehicle sales, this is an opportunity to build your career with one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing automotive groups. You’ll guide customers through every step of the purchasing process by building relationships, identifying their needs, presenting new and pre-owned vehicles, conducting test drives, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

2+ years of automotive dealership sales experience preferred
Proven success selling new and/or pre-owned vehicles in a dealership environment
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
Experience using dealership CRM tools is preferred
Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Build relationships with customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process
Assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle
Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
Explain vehicle features, financing options, warranties, and ownership benefits
Negotiate and finalize vehicle sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience
Generate repeat and referral business through outstanding follow-up
Utilize dealership CRM systems to manage customer communications and sales opportunities
Maintain knowledge of inventory, manufacturer incentives, and automotive industry trends
Collaborate with sales management, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
