Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive sales is not a requirement.
  • Customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Passion for automobiles and knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is beneficial.
  • Previous dealership and management experience a huge plus.
  • Leadership skills with a passion for training fellow employees.
  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday.
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving capabilities.
  • Quality customer service, communication, computer and basic math skills.
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information on our vehicle inventory, features, and financing options.
  • Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle capabilities to prospective buyers.
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals effectively and professionally.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new vehicle models, and dealership promotions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve dealership sales goals.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
  • Describe all optional equipment/products available for customer purchase.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
  • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
