About The Position

VERNON FORD, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is hiring a Sales Consultant to help create a positive guest experience. The role assists guests through the entire car sales process, including vehicle selection and presentation of protection products, and provides clear, transparent options so guests can make well-informed decisions. Sales Consultants collaborate with teammates to provide an excellent experience for all guests and contribute to a team committed to doing things the right way. The stated annual pay range is $60,000–$125,000, based on sales. The company offers comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and benefits.

Requirements

Demonstrated consultative sales experience.
Experience in a retail environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Valid in-state driver’s license.
Professional personal appearance.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to sell at least the minimum quota according to dealership standards.
Authorization to work in the USA.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, a drug test, and a credit report.
