Automotive Repair Store Managers

Sun Auto Tire and Service•Mesa, AZ

About The Position

Sun Auto Tire & Service is recruiting experienced retail leaders for its Manager-On-Deck (MOD) program. This is not a trainee or entry-level role. Selected candidates complete a structured, hands-on certification experience and are prepared to assume full store management responsibilities when a suitable vacancy opens in their area. MOD candidates are paired with a high-performing Store Manager at a designated training store, learn the company’s operational standards, leadership principles, and customer service expectations, and apply those skills through on-the-job practice, milestone check-ins, and self-assessments. They receive coaching and development support from their assigned Store Manager and Sun University resources, complete required training modules, and demonstrate mastery of Store Manager duties. Successful candidates are placed as soon as a suitable Store Manager role becomes available. Store Managers lead employees and oversee store operations, financial performance, customer service, facilities, and company policy compliance. The position requires at least five workdays per week, including weekends, and willingness to relocate or accept placement in an open store after program completion. Compensation is salary, with the range depending on experience.
