Midas - Automotive Store Managers
About The Position
Automotive Store Managers manage a retail store location and work to maximize profitability by driving sales, monitoring inventory and expenses, managing personnel, and controlling operating costs. They implement and manage sales programs and direct technicians and mechanics to ensure vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. They communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, explain requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction. Store Managers also use a digital dashboard to track their performance and weekly earnings and lead by example in advancing Midas’s sales initiatives and position as a tire and auto service retailer. The position is full-time at a service, repair, and tire center in Monroe, Michigan. The schedule is a five-day work week, with Sundays and one other weekday off.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in retail store management, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.
